I live on the east coast of New South Wales, Australia. I acknowledge the Wodi Wodi people/Dharawal, the traditional owners and custodians of the land and sea of the Illawarra region. Welcome to my website. Living on the beautiful escarpment near Wollongong on the south-eastern coast of Australia, I am surrounded by the colours, textures and patterns of the natural world. I am intrigued by randomness and order of patterns in nature and by similarities of pattern on different scales. By focusing closely on details of life forms and also on the relationships of objects or life forms with the space around them I attempt to evoke some of the feeling of mystery and discovery that I experience when I am in the natural world.
